In December 2006 we installed our DIPS solution allowing digital ink preset of the Heidelberg SM 102-5 and the Akiyama Bestech 632 printing machines from Agfa Apogee prepress data at Brigham Young University pressroom in Utah. The Akiyama press was also equipped with an IntelliTrax scanning densitometer which together with our Printflow DC solution enables closed-loop density control of this machine. Immediately after the installation at BYU an another DIPS installation was done at IC Group printing company in Salt Lake City. This DIPS presets the ink fountains of the Heidelberg SM 74 press from prepress data of their Agfa Apogee RIP. The sales were effected by Printflow representative – IPR Graphics Inc.
